- For example:
- Specific surface area, pore volume and pore size distribution of solid porous materials (physisorption of nitrogen at the temperature of liquid nitrogen, 77 K).
- Metal surface area and dispersion measurements of carrier supportted metal catalysts (chemisorption of hydrogen or carbon monoxide at temperatures near room temperature).
- Suitability of the method for each samples, such as heating as a pretreatmet, must be discussed separately.
